SNOW

Today it snowed!!!!! It only lasted for a little while, but the city freaks out about it enough that I was able to go home early from work.

Long Time...The Drought is Real!!!

We hope that ya'll had a great Christmas and a great New Year. Both of our were fairly quiet here in ATL. We did drive to Warner Robins (about 1 1/2 hours south) on New Year's Day to hang out with Chris' cousins. One of his cousins had a baby on December 11, so we were able to see him for the first time. Chris has now began his 2nd quarter at Portfolio Center. The first day of the quarter, they have to hang the photos that are chosen to be on display on the walls, and he has three hanging which is very exciting. Here's a selection of his work from this year: We went to Lake Lanier in North Georgia this weekend. This is a humongous man made lake that is the only place that Georgia gets its water supply from. However, if any of you are keeping up with the news, we are in a huge drought (because we have a deal with Florida that we release water to them and it never rains here). Lake Lanier is actually at it's lowest level ever. So there's all sorts of watering restrictions and landscapers are loosing business and everybody is freaking out. We really didn't believe it until we went to the lake this weekend, and.....THE DROUGHT IS REAL:
