Our Neighborhood

For those of you who are interested in where we live, we decided to take you on a tour of our neighborhood. We are lucky to be able to walk to most places, so last Sunday night we walked to our small group. It only takes about 30 minutes. It's nice to have the grocery store right across from our apartment. Yes, this is called a package store, but it's actually a liquor store. Don't ask me why they call it a package store. Fellini's Pizza, some say the best in town, I don't agree. They finally are putting a sidewalk down this street. Now we can safely walk places. There are a lot of monuments along the way, a nice history lesson. A few of my favorite houses. This is Piedmont Hospital, one of the better hospitals in this city. The fire hydrants are silver...weird. And now we arrive at the Means' condo. It's probably about 2 miles away. The Reves live right across the street, so we often switch condos for small group.

When I was little and saw a package store, I thought it was like a gift shop or something. Ha!

Oh my gosh, it was a bad idea for me to read this post! I had an "I miss Atlanta" weekend, and seeing these pictures is making my eyes fill up with tears--at work!! I'll have to look at the pics a little later when I've collected myself :)
